New Kids On The FJL Block!

As you may have seen on social media last month, FJL Founder Cath Jones has made the hard decision to hand over the business to new owners.

We are the McGeochs! Me - Tyson - and my wife Erin, and my sister Taryn. We are a close family, who have taken on the challenge of running a small business.

This week I'd like to introduce you to, and tell you a little bit about, my young family and we'll let Taryn have her OWN blog post another time, because sisters!

I come from a finance background with experience in a number of businesses and industries, and Erin was a kindergarten teacher in her previous kid-free life.
We have two very young daughters who keep everyday busy and rewarding. We're absolutely certain that our girls will love helping out too, so keep your eyes peeled for the baby who is probably eating the clothes and for the toddler who... well let's face it, she's a toddler so why even spend time guessing what she "might" do, because it'll probably be the opposite anyway!

Since the arrival of the children, the extended family have become a lot more conscious of everyday choices - from the food we eat, to the products we use at home, and as consumers in regards to the companies we buy from.

Frankie Jones really appealed to us as we love the idea of a small business being able to make such an impact on others, in particular the little (and big) humans who can safely wear the clothes, and the individuals and communities who produce the garments; knowing that they were being treated with fairness and respect.

It has been a dream of ours to go into small business and we feel the stars have aligned for us, so we have taken the plunge.

We look forward to having the privilege of continuing the relationship with you - the FJL Tribe. And even though the company has a new face, we promise to stay true to Frankie Jones's core vision of supporting this ethical movement and bringing you clothing that you and your littles can wear with confidence.
